Answer:

15 executive tickets

12 economic passes

Step-by-step explanation:

Resources are limited to $ 15,000. So the company must accommodate all 27 employees within that ticket budget, trying to get as many people as possible in business class.

Executive class price: $ 700

Price economy class: $ 375

Let x be the number of business class tickets:

700x + 375 (27-x) = 15,000

700x + 10,125 - 375x = 15,000

325x = 15,000 - 10,125

x = 4.875 / 325

x = 15

Therefore, the passages in economy class will be 27-15 = 12.

Then: 15 (700) + 12 (375) = 10,500 + 4500 = $ 15,000

The answer is F.30
Explanation: If we do guess and check, if we multiply the ratios by 10, it would be 30:40:50, which doesn’t add up to 180 degrees. if we multiply the ratios by 20, It would be 60:80:100, which also doesn’t add up to 180 degrees. How about we multiply the ratios by 15? It would be 45:60:75, which does add up to 180! The difference between x and z is 30, so the answer is F.30

Answer:

4) x = - 12

5) x = 4

Step-by-step explanation:

4)

Since points T and S are mid points of sides ML and MN of triangle MLN.

Therefore, by mid point theorem,

TS is half of LN

so,

x + 26 =  \frac{1}{2} (x + 40) \\  \\ 2(x + 26) =x + 40 \\  \\ 2x + 52 = x + 40 \\  \\ 2x - x = 40 - 52 \\  \\ x =  - 12

5) In the same way x = 4 will be the correct answer in question number 5.
