Answer:

The answer is The salamander has lungs, but not claws or nails.

Explanation:

Cladogram:

A cladogram is a diagrammatic epresentation of the evolutionary relationships between organisms that emerged from the same ancestor. Basically, it shows how closely one organism is related to another.

A cladogram differs with a phylogenetic tree in the sense that a cladogram only shows evolutionary relationships between one ancestor and all its descendants. On the other hand, a phylogenetic tree explains relationships between many clades (group of related species)

  • In this clade, claws and nails evolved later than the emergence of salamanders and salmon. Therefore, the salamander does have lungs but not claws or nails.
  • All these organisms have a common ancestor. As you look at the bottom, all the branches lead to a single, common ancestor.
  • In a clade, the organisms closest in terms of evolution are placed close to each other. Therefore, the salmon is most closely related to the lizard not the hamster.
  • Similarly, the final descendant of the ancestor i.e. the chimpanzee is most closely related to the lizard rather than the salamander.

Basically I need to find the question, dependent variable, independent variable, and constants of the scenario listed in the pho
jeka94

In this experiment, they want to test the effect of each wax, with the question being "which wax protects the floor the most from scratches?" or "with which wax does the floor has the least scratches?"

The independent variable depends only on itself and is not affected by others, in this case, it would be the type of wax (expensive, cheap, none).

The dependent variable is the one that would change with the independent variable, in this case, the number of scratches.

The constants would be things that don't change, in this case, the size of the sections, and the kind of tiles.

KonstantinChe [14]
An extended-release medication is a drug with a different mechanism of release and action. The drug is designed to be released slowly over a course of time. It would not be a problem to crush an immediate-release drug but the nurse should not crush the extended-release opioid. If the patient receives this opioid medication crushed, the entire quantity of the drug will be at once released and active in its body. This could cause overdose or severe side-effects from the high dosage.
