Answer:

Hi Robert,

I hope you're doing better! The purpose of my letter is to let you know how much fun I had during the science exhibition you've missed due to your broken leg.

Firstly, we arrived at the venue and started looking at all demonstrations from other students, later, we were able to choose among one of the demonstrations and ask questions related to it, also they had to show us how it was done. Sam and I chose the Bubble Life and Temperature demonstration, and you won't imagine what happened!

When the students shook the jar it took only seconds for the bubbles to start poppping!  Remember we use to try doing that project, but we failed to do it  properly and the bubbles never popped? Well, now I tell you that we were doing it wrong! And when I see you, we definitely should try once again.

I hope you get well soon,

Josh.

Explanation:

As you can see, we need a remitent and receptor in every letter, just like this one. You vocabulary depends on the formality of your letter, as you can see, this letter has neutral vocab. Also, it is important to include a introduction -- why are you writing the letter? A greeting and a farewell is also really important in letters. The interesting incident here is the fact that the experiment was completely possible when they thought it wasn´t.

Read the excerpt from "Code Talkers.”
kozerog [31]

The correct answers would be questions D " Did any of the Japanese or German students learn to speak Navajo" and E " What kind of code did the American Indians use during World War I".  These are the questions that could help the reader understand the military leader's fear, since if the answers are yes they did learn to speak it, and a simple code, (respectively) then it would be perfectly sane to feel apprehension at using the same code again. Options A, B and C are not relevant because they do not contribute to the subject, for example, it doesn't matter how many people spoke Navajo before World War I, what is important is how many can learn it.

Is that sentence ethos, pathos or logos and why/how??
allsm [11]

Answer:

pathos

Explanation:

The rhetorical technique used here is is pathos.

Pathos is a rhetorical technique which appeals to the emotions of the audience. It is actually used to invoke feelings of the audience.

We see that in the statement, the speaker said "I do not think, comrades, that I shall be with you for many months longer, before I die,..." Such statement will  invoke the emotions of the audience. The speaker's statement about his death actually arouses a feeling of pity and sorrow in the audience.
