They are plantation owners which means they’re gonna need people to work in their land and most plantation owners owned acres and acres of land which was clearly a lot of work for one man and so they needed more men to work on it and so they got slaves. (it also somewhat showed that they had a lot of money since they can buy slaves.)

Answer:

Since they were farmers, they need the slaves to collect the crops and to plant more. Most of the time, they lived on large acres of land so it was more than a one man job.

It is likely that Lilianne has also just <span>developed a sense of object permanence.
Object permanence refers to the fact that infants know that certain objects/people exist even though they cannot see them at the time. In the beginning, infants might be scared of meeting new people because they still don't fit their existing schemas (they are still unfamiliar with them), but once they get acquainted with that person/object, they will no longer be scared of them, which will happen to Lilianne as well.

Which statement about Edward C. Tolman is incorrect? He disagreed with John B. Watson and B. F. Skinner. He found that emotions
Zielflug [23.3K]

The correct answer is He found that emotions can be a conditioned response.

Tolman was influenced by the theoretical and experimental legacy of Thorndike, Watson and Gestalt psychologists. Whereas, in philosophical terms, he started his career under the aegis of Perry and Holt's neorealism (Lopes, 2008). These multiple influences, combined with the diversity, evolution and longevity of his work, make it difficult to classify his system based on broad labels such as behaviorism or cognitiveness (Santana & Borba, 2015).

In his first presentation of his explanatory system, Tolman (1922) addresses the problem of proposing an explanation that reconciles the need for an observable and measurable phenomenon like behavior - as opposed to introspectionist psychology - with a theory that encompasses behavioral functions not reducible to physiology , but that address the relationships between organism and environment capable of generating a “transformation factor” (Tolman, 1922), or that understand the behavior of each organism from its motivations and effects in a context.

Elodia [21]
-6(-3-2m) = -17+7m
-6(-3) + -6(-2m) = -17 + 7m
18 + 12m = -17 + 7m
18 + 17 = 7m - 12m
35 = -5m
35/-5 = -5m/-5
-7 = m
