Answer: The mother's nutrition-related advice about the benefit of taking the gelatin pills is an example of an anecdote.

Explanation:

In medicine, an anecdote is when a person uses something that may of worked for them previously. In this case, it was gelatin pills 3 times a day. There is no scientific research that shows that this will really help fingernails, but people will use it because of others success with it.

Amanda [17]
Bereavement (grief). Bereavement is the state of loss when someone close to you has died. The death of someone you love is one of the greatest sorrows that can occur. Describe the following influences on our food choices and provide an example of each?
Mars2501 [29]
All of these can have a big effect on our food choices.

Let's take product packaging for example - if you're walking down a supermarket, you're more likely to look at and buy a product that looks appealing to you from the moment you see it, not even looking at what that product is or how much it costs.

Product pricing obviously affects your choice as well. If you have the same type of rice from two different producers, you're more likely to buy the one that is cheaper.

Cultural background - this affects perhaps what food we eat. However, given the diversity and possibility, cultural background will have less and less influence. People from an Asian heritage perhaps tend to eat more rice per househould, compared to people from an European heritage. So this may affect how often one would opt for rice or something else instead.

If you are diagnosed with Pre diabetes can you eat right and exercise enough for it to go away?
sweet [91]
The diagnosis of pre-diabetes is a risk factor for developing diabetes, not an absolute certainty. So, yes, diet and exercise can normalize blood sugars and reduce your future risk of developing diabetes.
