Why does single parents have more of a challenge raising children?

Children can be frightened by the strong emotions that go along with separation. They need to hear that both parents love them and that the separation isn’t their fault. Try to explain what’s happening in terms your child can understand. For example, ‘Mum and I won’t be living together, but we both love you and want to see you whenever we can’.

Single parents lack major financial support that a partner can bring to the relationship; not all child support payments can make. Not only that, but raising a kid typically takes dedication from two people. It emotionally damages the partners, and the child when a family splits apart. (NO MATTER THE REASON) There can also be legal issues when separating.
