we round 12.3 to 12 because whenever we're asked to round a number, we always look to the digit to the right of the number, if the digit on the right is greater than or equal to 5, we round up if it's less that 5, we round down.

we already rounded 12.3 to 12 and 4.7 to 5 so now

12-5=7
