v+f-e=2\\
v=2-f+e\\
v=2-6+12\\
v=8

Hello,

E=V+F-2 with
E number of edges
F number of faces
V number of vertices;

So V=E-F+2=12-6+2=8

Your polyhedron is a cube. (or a "parrallélipipède ")
