CAN U LABEL THE ANSWER AND THE QUESTION MARKING BRAINLIST protected by the physical geography of the area. Part of the civilizat

ion in Guatemala was located in a highland region. Part of the civilization was along the coast protected by the Pacific Ocean and the rest was deep in the rainforests of the Yucatan Peninsula. These natural barriers helped to protect the Maya civilization for 1,300 years. The Maya used stone, bone, and wood tools to build their cities. They studied art, mathematics, architecture, drama, medicine, and music. Each city had a palace for the ruler, a marketplace, and one or more pyramids. The Maya worshipped the gods of nature. They believed in Gods of Rain, Maize, and Sun. They believed that these gods were in control of crops which meant they were in control of the food for the people. The most powerful people in the Maya civilization were priests and political leaders. The Maya believed that their priests could talk to the gods. The priests held ceremonies to keep demons inside the underworld. During these ceremonies, priests wore masks and costumes. 1. With regard to the Five Themes of Geography, what was the location of the Maya civilization? What are some of the physical characteristics of the place? How do people interact with the environment in this place? 2. What form of government do you think was in place in the Maya civilization? Explain why you think this. 3. With regard to economics, did the Mayans have natural resources? Did they trade with other countries? Use the above answers to these questions and the writing checklist to write a paragraph about the Maya civilization.

Unfortunately my knowledge of Mesoamerican cultures is um, rather lacking. I know that they lived in South America, specifically along the Andes mountain range and used a unique method of leveling the land, almost like steps to create farm land. If had to guess I'd say they had some form of theocracy. As to whether they had resources. I think that's an obvious yes. No culture flourishes without access to natural resources. As for whether they traded, I'm not aware of any contemporary cultures, but it would make sense that they did exist, and most likely did trade. I do know they had a system of roads, and well that's normally attributed to troop movement, it's also holds importance to establishing trade routes.

soldi70 [24.7K]

Answer:

0.24

Explanation:

Let the probability of people believing that it is morally wrong to not report all income tax be P.

P= 76/100

P=0.76

So the probability of people not believing that it is morally wrong to not report all income tax will be P'.

P'=1-P

P'=1-0.76\\P'=0.24

Hence the answer is 0.24

What were Japanese Internment (Prison) camps REALLY like?
Nataly [62]

Answer:

Japanese internment camps were established during World War II by President Franklin D. Roosevelt through his Executive Order 9066. From 1942 to 1945, it was the policy of the U.S. government that people of Japanese descent, including U.S. citizens, would be incarcerated in isolated camps. Enacted in reaction to the Pearl Harbor attacks and the ensuing war, the incarceration of Japanese Americans is considered one of the most atrocious violations of American civil rights in the 20th century.
