Lets say each jersey cost x,

then 12 jerseys will cost 12x

Total costs will then be 12x + 3, 12x of costs plus $3 of shipping

We already know that the total cost is $99

so 12x + 3 = 99

Now isolate x by subtracting 3 from both sides

12x 3 - 3 = 99 - 3

12x = 96

Now divide both sides by 12 to find x

12/12x = 96/12

x = 8

Each jersey cost $8

Answer: You can use the equation 12x + 3 = 99 to find the cost of each jersey

Hope it helps :)

Answer/Step-by-step explanation:

Given, b(x) = (\frac{6}{7})^{x}

The table for the function are:

When x = -2

b(-2) = (\frac{6}{7})^{-2}

b(-2) = \frac{1}{(\frac{6}{7})^{2}}

b(-2) = \frac{1}{(\frac{36}{49})}

b(-2) = 1*\frac{49}{36}

b(-2) = \frac{49}{36}

When x = -1

b(-1) = (\frac{6}{7})^{-1}

b(-1) = \frac{1}{(\frac{6}{7})}

b(-1) = 1*\frac{7}{6}

b(-2) = \frac{7}{6}

When x = 0

b(0) = (\frac{6}{7})^{0}

b(0) = \frac{6^0}{7^0}

b(0) = \frac{1}{1}

b(0) = 1

When x = 1

b(1) = (\frac{6}{7})^{1}

b(1) = \frac{6}{7}

When x = 2

b(2) = (\frac{6}{7})^{2}

b(2) = \frac{6^2}{7^2}

b(2) = \frac{36}{49}

A right triangle has a side with length 12 in and a hypotenuse with length 20 in. find the length of the missing leg. (round to
OLEGan [10]
Let the unknown side be "z" inches
Through pythagoras:
{12}^{2}  +  {z}^{2}  =  {20}^{2}
Because the square of the two sides add up to the square of the hypotenuse in a right triangle.

This means that
{z }^{2}  = {20}^{2}  -  {12}^{2}
{z}^{2}  = 400 - 144 = 256
z =  \sqrt{256}  = 16
So the missing side is 16 inches

Hope this helped
