The responsibility are do not use your phone on the road. If you are at a stop light, there could be a car that is backing up. You don't see it because you are looking at your phone Then all of the sudden that car backing up hits the front of your car. Now you have to pay a lot of money trying to fix the front of your car because you where not looking in front of you at the road. Another thing is use a seat belt! If for some reason you crash you could go flying though the window. You could brake you scull, fracture a hip bone, or even rip out a eyeball, wear a seat belt!

<u>Road user</u> can be anyone who is walking or driving on a road. To avoid any mishap or accidents there are some responsibility of both the drivers and pedestrians. These responsibilities are as mentioned,

  1. Follow traffic rules.
  2. Refrain using road while one is under influence of any type of drugs or alcohol.
  3. Be attentive.
  4. Roads are public property do not damage them.
  5. Do not throw edibles or any garbage on the roads.

Road user can be any person who is using the road be it a pedestrian or a driver. Road safety is given importance as an irresponsible behavior on the roads can give rise to major accidents and mishaps.

To avoid such fatal or injurious accidents to happen one should follow a set of discipline on roads.

  1. Follow traffic rules- Traffic rules are made so that the mishap can be avoided. Pedestrians and vehicle owners both should make sure that they follow the traffic rules.
  2. Refrain using road while one is under influence of any type of drugs or alcohol- Alcohol and drugs affects our central nervous system. Using roads in such an form is not advisable as it can lead to fatalities.
  3. Be attentive- attention while driving and walking on the road is advised as being attentive can lessen the chances of accidents and injuries.
  4. Roads are public property do not damage them- Damaging public property is an offense. one found guilty is put behind bars. Other than that road mishap has a great chance to occur if the roads are in inebriated state.
  5. Do not throw edibles or any garbage on the roads- Disposing garbage or left overs on the road is not a good behavior. Also, a risk of an individual slipping or vehicle gliding on the road increases with this behavior. Thus, refraining from such disposal can decrease the risks of accidents on the roads.
