Ok so for slope it's difference in y dividing by the difference of x. The difference of y is 10 - 6 which is 4, and the change in x is 5 - (-3) which is 8. Dividing 4 by 8 gets us 1/2. So the slope is 1/2. Slope intercept form would be y = mx + b, and the slope is 1/2 so it'd be y = (1/2)x + b. Plug in a point and you get b = 15/2. So the final slope intercept form would be y = (1/2)x + 15/2. For point slope form just put in a point and slope and you get y - 6 = (1/2) × (x + 3). Standard form would have to be arranged from slope intercept. So multiplying 2 to the slope intercept form we get 2y = x + 15. Subtracting x we get -x + 2y = 15. In standard form we don't want x to be negative so just multiply by negative one and we get x - 2y = -15.

Answer:

Solving the given formula for v2 gives us:

a(t_2-t_1)+v_1 = v_2

Step-by-step explanation:

Solving an equation for a particular variable means that the variable has to be isolated on one side of the equation.

Given equation is:

a = \frac{v_2-v_1}{t_2-t_1}

Multiplying both sides by t2-t1

(t_2-t_1) . a = \frac{v_2-v_1}{t_2-t_1} . (t_2-t_1)\\a(t_2-t_1) = v_2-v_1

Adding v1 to both sides of the equation

a(t_2-t_1)+v_1 = v_2-v_1+v_1\\a(t_2-t_1)+v_1 = v_2

Hence,

Solving the given formula for v2 gives us:

a(t_2-t_1)+v_1 = v_2

Even though you didn't bother to share the list of acceptable choices ...
that short group of inequalities that the question calls "the following" ...
we can give you the answer anyway.

The graph depicts the inequality

       y >  -2 x + 6  .

Answer:

7 is the card that must be removed.

Step-by-step explanation:

2 + 5 + 8 + 9 = 24 and dividing it by four (which is something you have to do when finding the average or mean) will get you 6 as an answer. So by getting rid of 7 you have a final mean as 6.

A tree of unknown height casts a shadow that is 18 feet long. If a person that is 5 ft 7 in casts a shadow that is 4 ft long, th
brilliants [131]

Answer:

25.

Step-by-step explanation:

5 ft 7 in = 5.583 ft.

We have 2 similar triangles here.

If h is the height of the tree, then:

h / 5.583 = 18/4

h = 18*5.583/4

h = 25.12 ft
