First you had to used their apply complex arithmetic rule.

(5*1-(-1)(-5))+(5(-5)+(-1)*1)i

Then you had to refine by equation.

0-26i

Finally, refine again by equation.

=-26i

Final answer: \boxed{=-26i}

Hope this helps!

And thank you for posting your question at here on brainly, and have a great day.

Which of the following is the conjugate of a complex number with 5 as the real part and −2 as the imaginary part?
ololo11 [35]

Hello!

Given two real numbers "a" and "b", the complex number z is defined as:

The complex conjugate of "Z = a + bi" is "Z = a – bi"

Given the complex number Z = a - bi, "a" is called the real part and "b" the imaginary part.

Therefore:

Re(a) = 5

Im(b) = -2

z = a - bi

z = 5 - (-2)i

\boxed{\boxed{z = 5 + 2i}}\end{array}}\qquad\checkmark

Answer:

a. 5 + 2i

AH the second question
Degger [83]

Answer:

ii. 55 degrees.

Step-by-step explanation:

(ii)

Consider the  quadrilateral ABCD.

Angle n = 180 - 96 = 84 degrees  ( opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral are supplementary).

Consider triangle ABC: the 3 angles are supplementary, so

m < j = 180 - 84 - 41

=  55 degrees.

What is the smallest angle of rotational symmetry that maps a regular pentagon onto itself?
lora16 [44]

Answer:

72º

Step-by-step explanation:

In order to calculate this you have to remember that the center angle of any polygon measures 360º, so what we do is just divide those 360 by the number of angles that you will find in the polygon, the number of angles equals the number of sides, so the pentagon has 5 sides, it will also have 5 angles. So we just divide the 360/5=72

So the smallest angle of rotational symmetry that maps a regular pentagon onto itself will be 72º

Vsevolod [243]

Answer: B, D, E

Step-by-step explanation:

Statement 1 cannot be true because f(1)<0.

Statement 2 might be true.

Statement 3 cannot be true because if f is continuous, then for some value between -1 and 0, f(x) is positive by the Intermediate Value Theorem.

Statement 4 might be true.

Statement 5 might be true
