Answer:

Sports and activities that can improve health: Running, walking, cycling, swimming, water aerobics, dancing, soccer, gymnastics, among others.

Explanation:

The modern man has been putting aside sports, which often leads to a sedentary lifestyle and causes disorders such as poor diet, obesity, smoking, stress, coronary heart disease, etc. However we need to encourage sports that can improve both our physical and mental health.

Sport can provide many improvements to our body and mind, including: Increased self-esteem and mental capacity, decreased bad cholesterol levels and decreased levels of depression and anxiety, slows aging and onset of chronic diseases, strengthens bones, reduces stress, improves sleep quality, strengthens the heart, among others.

Can people have a high BMI but still have good cardiovascular health? Why or why not?
saul85 [17]

Answer:

Not always, however, it is possible.

Explanation:

BMI is essentially an average of how much you weigh for you height. It isn't always accurate because there can be a really buff guy (where muscle weighs more than far), however, he is really short. This would mean his BMI would be very high. But even though his BMI is high, his cardiovascular health is probably still top notch.  On the other hand, if someone has a high BMI because they just weigh alot and they have an average height (a likewise high BMI), they are probably going to have bad cardiovascular health.

How would the nurse help a patient experiencing unilateral neglect related to a brain injury restore normal capabilities?
larisa86 [58]

The correct answer for this question is

Reminding the patient to scan the home environment,

Encouraging family members to eat along with the patient

Teaching the patient to touch the affected side of body with the unaffected hand

Patients with unilateral neglect-related cerebrovascular accidents are more likely to fall. To reduce the danger of falling, the patient should be reminded to inspect their living space as they walk. Family members should sit with the patient at meals so they may remind them to attempt to eat with the affected side of their mouth. Helping the patient become conscious of the affected side is teaching them to touch the affected side of their body with the unaffected hand. The patient may benefit from greater coping mechanisms and therapeutic dialogue, but anxious patients will benefit more from these techniques.

For each kilogram of a person's weight, 2.5 milligrams of a drug is to be given. what dosage should be given to a child who wei
Free_Kalibri [48]

So, basically the question is asking what is the dose of a medication that is 2.5mg/kg.

Assuming that the child does NOT weigh 7171lbs but 71lbs; which would equal around 32kg (71 x 0.45).

So this child would have 2.5mg per 32kg. 32kg x 2.5= 80mg of medication.
