The answer is C. The dark moths were best fit for their environment, since the trees in England were darker due to pollution. The dark moths could best blend into the trees, so birds couldn’t spot them. The white moth population decreased dramatically because they could not blend in with the trees, so they were spotted easier and were thus more vulnerable to predation. This illustrates Darwin’s concept of survival of the fittest. The organisms best fit for the environment live because they have traits and adaptations that enable them to survive. The organisms that do not have these traits, however, will not survive. Since the fit organisms live, they can reproduce and pass on their fitness to their offspring. That’s what makes a species stronger and less vulnerable in their environment. This leads to evolution.

Answer:

c. the dark-colored moths were more fit.

Explanation:

Since the light moths were more easily seen by their hunters, were easy prey for them, so the darker moths had the edge when their natural hunters searched for them to eat them, so the most easily moths to spot for their hunters would be the light colored moth against the Dark trees, that´s why the dark-colored moths were more fit for their environment.

What happens to glucose once the plant had made it
UkoKoshka [18]

In your cells blood picks up carbon dioxide and releases oxygen. ... They produce oxygen during a process called photosynthesis. During photosynthesis green plants manufacture the sugar molecules fructose and glucose. Green plants use energy from sunlight to build sugar molecules from carbon dioxide and water.

Answer:

Option D = 3.4 g/mL

Explanation:

Given data:

Volume of water = 21.2 mL

Volume of water + object = 27.8 mL

Mass of object = 22.4 g

Density of object = ?

Solution:

First of all we will calculate the volume of object.

Volume of object = Volume of water+ object - volume of water

Volume of object = 27.8 mL - 21.2 mL

Volume of object = 6.6 mL

Density of object:

d = m/v

d = 22.4 g/ 6.6 mL

d = 3.4 g/mL
