Judging on the question I figured that the perpendicular line's slope would be -x since the slope of a perpendicular line is opposite to that of a the reference line.

Thus, your answer should be y=-x+4 considering that is the only equation with the slope of -x.

How many ways can a group of three boys and three girls be seated in a row of six seats if boys and girls must alternate in the
IgorC [24]

Answer:

24

Step-by-step explanation:

there are 6 seats and 3 boys, 3 girls.

First seat can be given to either boy or a girl.

So there are two ways.

If a boy is selected say, then he has to occupy 3rd and 5th only.

There are 2 ways

Now available positions are 2nd, 4th and 6th, in this girls can be arranged in 3! ways = 6

So total number of ways =

2x2x6 = 24

Susan makes 5 fruit cups for the picnic. In each cup, she has 5 strawberries and 3 kiwi. Joanna uses the same number of total fr
rosijanka [135]
The answer to this question is that Joanna used 2 kiwis in each fruit cup. We can work this out in the following way:
5 x 5 = 25
8 x 4 = 32
3 x 5 = 15
40 - 32 = 8
15+25 = 40

Find the necessary confidence interval for the binomial proportion p. (Round your answers to three decimal places.) A 90% confid
frutty [35]

Answer:

[0.875;0.925]

Step-by-step explanation:

Hello!

You have a random sample of n= 400 from a binomial population with x= 358 success.

Your variable is distributed X~Bi(n;ρ)

Since the sample is large enough you can apply the Central Limit Teorem and approximate the distribution of the sample proportion to normal

^ρ≈N(ρ;(ρ(1-ρ))/n)

And the standarization is

Z= ^ρ-ρ  ≈N(0;1)

√(ρ(1-ρ)/n)

The formula to estimate the population proportion with a Confidence Interval is

[^ρ ± Z_{1-\alpha/2}*√(^ρ(1-^ρ)/n)]

The sample proportion is calculated with the following formula:

^ρ= x/n = 358/400 = 0.895 ≅ 0.90

And the Z-value is Z_{1-\alpha/2} = Z_{0.95} = 1.648 ≅ 1.65

[0.90 ± 1.65 * √((0.90*0.10)/400)]

[0.875;0.925]

I hope you have a SUPER day!

Look for a percentage and if it's growth or decay<br><img src="https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=y%20%3D%20600%280.71%29%20%5Cfrac%7Bx%7D%

29% and it shows decay because the number in the parenthesis is less than 1.

29% because 1- 0.71 = 0.29 then 0.29 is 29%

The table shows a linear function.
Elza [17]

Answer:

a) I used the equation x=-5; f(x)=-11 and x=-4; f(x)=-3. We get the range = -3-(-11)=8

b) I used the equation x=-5; f(x)=-11 and x=-3; f(x)=5. We get the range = 5-(-11)=16

c) I used the equation x=-5; f(x)=-11 and x=-2; f(x)=13. We get the range = 13-(-11)=24

d) Range of input is equal with the ratios of the output. You can find the pattern of output above 8,16,and 24 can divided by 8 and give the result 1,2 and 3
