Answer:

This poem is an extended metaphor. Although the speaker doesn't mention any races, it is clear that she is showing how the freedoms allotted whites are diametrically opposed to those given to the blacks. In the first stanza, the speaker illustrates how the free bird, or white race, is untroubled. It also shows how the white race has the audacity to own and govern society unjustly. The speaker concludes'' (the free bird) dares to claim the sky". This shows how whites demonstrated discrimination and prejudice toward blacks. Unfortunately, this deplorable conduct was condoned in society

Answer:

In "Caged Bird" by Maya Angelou, the free bird is an extended metaphor for a free person, and the caged bird is an extended metaphor for an oppressed person. Angelou creates a comparison between the two birds to make her point. For example, a free bird that "leaps on the back of the wind" is a metaphor for being free to do anything, while a caged bird with clipped wings and tied feet is a metaphor for being kept from doing most things. Angelou alternates the focus of the stanzas between the free bird and the caged bird. This emphasizes the contrast between the two and highlights the emotions her extended metaphors convey.

Answer:

10. Evaporation of ocean water and formation of sea ice both increase the salinity of the ocean. However these "salinity raising" factors are continually counterbalanced by processes that decrease salinity such as the continuous input of fresh water from rivers, precipitation of rain and snow, and melting of ice.

Explanation:

11. Features of the ocean floor include the continental shelf and slope, abyssal plain, trenches, seamounts, and the mid-ocean ridge. The ocean floor is rich in resources. Living things on the ocean floor are used for food or medicines. Nonliving resources include oil, gas, and minerals.

Write a story that ends with better late than never (450 words )
Ugo [173]

To write a good story, attention needs to be paid to textual structure and context, so that there is a cohesive narrative rhythm that holds the reader's attention.

The stories can be fictional or not, but they must always develop around a main plot, that is, the exposition of the facts that justify the main theme of the text.

There are many different types of narrative, such as: newspaper news, comic books, novels, etc.

Some tips can help you write a good story, such as:

  • Read more books and conduct in-depth research on stories with themes similar to what you want to write.

  • Build and develop the story's central characters.

  • Use sensory and descriptive elements to make the story more emotional for the reader.

  • Use imagination and creativity to develop the climax of the story.

  • Organize ideas clearly and objectively and write a draft if necessary.

This is all about creativity, so it needs to be written by you, but I hope these tips help!
