Answer:

Equivalent ratio states that the two ratios that express the same relationship between numbers.

As, we can create equivalent ratios by multiplying or dividing both the numerator and denominator of a given ratio by the same number.

To find the 3 equivalent ratio of 21:56 as follows:

by definition we have;

(1)

\frac{21}{56} \times \frac{2}{2} =\frac{21\times 2}{56 \times 2} =\frac{42}{112}

(2)

\frac{21}{56} \times \frac{3}{3} =\frac{21\times 3}{56 \times 3} =\frac{63}{168}

(3)

\frac{21}{56} \times \frac{4}{4} =\frac{21\times 4}{56 \times 4} =\frac{84}{224}

Therefore, the three equivalent ratios for 21:56 are;

\frac{42}{112} , \frac{63}{168} ,and \frac{84}{224}

There is an infinite number of equivalent ratios for 21:56, but easier ones are:

42:112 (because 21 * 2 = 42 and 56 * 2 = 112)
63:168 (because 21 * 3 = 63 and 56 * 3 = 168)
84:224 (because 21 * 4 = 84 and 56 * 4 = 224)

Copy the problems onto your paper, mark the given and prove the statements asked. Given: marked Prove: ΔABC ≅ ΔDBC, ΔEHF ≅ ΔGHF
hjlf

The proof is given below. Please go through it.

Step-by-step explanation:

To solve Δ ABC ≅ Δ DBC

From Δ ABC and Δ DBC

AB = BD (given)

AC = CD (given)

BC is common side

By SSS condition Δ ABC ≅ Δ DBC ( proved)

To solve Δ EHF ≅ Δ GHF

Δ EHF and Δ GHF

EH = HG ( given)

∠ EFH = ∠ GFH ( each angle is 90°)

HF is common side

By RHS condition

Δ EHF ≅ Δ GHF

He also guided America through World War 2 and created peace between nations by signing the Atlantic Charter which then was the basis for the United Nations.
