Answer:

4

Step-by-step explanation:

It's much easier to see the meaning if brackets are used.

h(g(x) ) = h·g(x)

What this means is that in h(x) where ever there is an x, put a g(x)

h(x) = x^2 + 4

h(g(x)) = [g(x)]^2 + 4

Now where ever you see a g(x), put 2x

h(g(x))= (2x)^2 + 4

h(g(x)) = 4x^2 + 4

Now solve for h(g(0)) which means where ever you see a x substitute a 0.

h(g(0)) = 4*(0) + 4

h(g(0)) = 4

Speed and Distances

The formula for calculating distance is expressed as:

 • Distance = speed * time

Given the following

Distance = 10 miles

a) If the speed is 2 miles per hour

Time = Distance/Speed

Time = 10/2

Time = 5 hours

B) If the speed is 2.5 miles per hour

Time = Distance/Speed

Time = 10/2.5

Time = 4 hours

C) If the speed is m miles per hour

Time = Distance/Speed

Time = 10/m

Time = 10/m hours

D) If the speed is 2 miles per hour more than m miles per hour, hence;

speed = m + 2

Time = Distance/Speed

Time = 10/(m+2) hours

E) If three times slower than m miles per hour, hence;

Speed = m - 3

time = 10/(m-3) hours

Can someone help me find the area

To find the volume of a container, you simply multiply: L(ength) x B(ase) x H(eight).

In total, you should get a volume of 1078in^3 (the bigger container) plus 175in^3 (the smaller container on top of the bigger one). The answer is 1,253in^3.

Hope this helped! :)
