Answer:

Lemon juice has lowest pH.

Explanation:

pH is the negative log of hydrogen ion concentration. By increasing the Hydrogen ion concentration pH will decrease.

pH = -log [H⁺]

According to pH scale,

The pH of 7 is consider neutral. The pH below the 7 is consider acidic and above the 7 is basic.

The sodium hydroxide is strongest base because it fully dissociate into ions.

It dissociate to gives the sodium and hydroxyl ions and solution became more basic.

                              NaOH → Na⁺(aq) + OH⁻(aq)

Its pH is 12. It is also known as caustic soda.

The pH of blood is vary from 7.35 - 7.45. it is slightly alkaline.

The pH of lemon juice is ranging between 2-3.

The pH of tap water is ranging between 6-8.5.

From above given information it can be noticed that lemon juice have lowest pH i.e 2-3. It is acidic, because its pH is less than 7.

A metal forms the fluoride MF3. Electrolysis of the molten fluoride by a current of 3.86 A for 16.2 minutes deposits 1.25 g of t
larisa86 [58]

<u>Answer: </u>The molar mass of the metal is 96.45 g/mol

<u>Explanation:</u>

The fluoride of the metal formed is MF_3

The oxidation half-reaction follows:

M\rightarrow M^{3+}+3e^-

Calculating the theoretical mass deposited by using Faraday's law, which is:

m=\frac{M\times I\times t(s)}{n\times F}       ......(1)

where,

m = actual mass deposited = 1.25 g

M = molar mass of metal = ?

I = average current = 3.86 A

t = time period in seconds = 16.2 min = 972 s            (Conversion factor: 1 min = 60 sec)

n = number of electrons exchanged = 3mol^{-1}

F = Faraday's constant = 96500 C

Putting values in equation 1, we get:

1.25g=\frac{M\times 3.86A\times 972s}{3mol^{-1}\times 96500 C}\\\\M=\frac{1.25g\times 3mol^{-1}\times 96500 C}{3.86A\times 972s}\\\\M=96.45g/mol

Hence, the molar mass of the metal is 96.45 g/mol

How many atoms are in 4.5 x 1022 moles of CO2?
weeeeeb [17]

The number of atoms : N = 2.709 x 10⁴⁶

<h3>Further explanation</h3>

Given

4.5 x 10²² moles of CO₂

Required

The number of atoms

Solution

The mole is the number of particles(molecules, atoms, ions) contained in a substance

1 mol = 6.02.10²³ particles

Can be formulated

N=n x No

N = number of particles

n = mol

No = Avogadro's = 6.02.10²³

Input the value :

N = 4.5 x 10²² x 6.02 x 10²³

N = 2.709 x 10⁴⁶

The number of electrons in n=1 and n=2 shells of aluminum are
harina [27]

Answer:

n=1 holds two electrons and n=2 holds eight electrons.

Explanation:

Hello

In this case, since the atomic number of aluminum is 13, its electron configuration is:

Al^{13}: 1s^2,2s^2,2p^6,3s^2,3p^1

In such a way, we can see that the level n=1 is filled with two electrons since the subshell s is able to hold two electrons and the level n=2 is also filled but with eight electrons as s holds two whereas p holds 6. Moreover, n=3 is holding three electrons.

Best regards.

What are two things with the same volume but different masses?
Sati [7]

Answer:

an ice cube and paper cube with the same dimensions

Explanation:

an example is an ice cube and a cube with the same dimensions made of paper. these have the same volume, but different masses because the particles are packed differently and in different amounts.
