The correct answer is C. Cheese

Explanation:

In nutrition, fats are an important element of diet; these are composed mainly of hydrogen and carbon and are a source of energy. Despite this, not all fat is the same and in the last decades, scientists have determined some have high nutritional value and are recommended while others have low nutritional value and lead to health issues.

In this way, foods such as avocados, walnuts, and salmon contain high levels of monounsaturated fats that are beneficial for health, also these foods have high nutritional value due to the minerals or vitamins in them. In the case of cheese, this contains high levels of fat but this is not as healthy as other foods and therefore is considered to have a low nutritional value; also, its consumption should be limited especially in case you follow a low-fat diet.

Which of the following statements correctly summarizes the psychological research on parent relationships during adolescence?a.
zhannawk [14.2K]

Answer:

An adolescent's peers typically undermine the values and goals that the parents have tried to foster in the adolescent.

Explanation:

This is called "peer pressure".

At this age kids are tempted and pressured to engage in unhealthy behaviors because "everyone is doing it". These decisions, if left to themselves, can scar children for life and send them into a downward spiral of unhealthy behaviors.

What are the social determinants of health contributing to the prevalence of sexually transmitted infections in adolescents?
elena-s [515]

Lack of education, access to proper health care, and low income or poverty are some of the social determinants that affect the prevalence of STDs.

These can be elaborated as:

Lack of education - People are not properly educated on the implications and measures to prevent STDs  (sexually transmitted diseases), leading to widespread infection.

Lack of access to proper health care -  Improper or compromised health services is one of the main reasons for the increased cases of STDs as it fails to provide complete treatment for the disease.

Poverty - People may not have access to different safety mechanisms to avoid STDs due to their low income which can lead to an increase in infections in society.

There can be various social determinants apart from the ones mentioned above.
