For the first one I would say that the water cycle would be affected because there would be more water in the ground. The roots of the trees soak up the water and keep excellent drainage under the ground. Without trees this mechanism would be all sorts of messed up. Another way it could be affected would be the perspiration from the trees. This might change the humidity of the area.

A given ecosystem has the following amounts of energy available at each trophic level: Primary producers: 4,000 gC/m2/day; Prima
schepotkina [342]

Answer:

b. Yes, the average efficiency is 10%

Explanation:

The average efficiency at each trophic level is 10% because there is about 10% of energy is transferred from one trophic level to another. In some trophic levels the efficiency of organisms is 20% but in most of the trophic level has 10% efficiency so that's why the average efficiency is 10%. Yes, this ecosystem obeys the Lindeman's Law for ecological efficiency due to its 10% of ecological efficiency.

A flood can wash away important abiotic factors such as soil and rocks that certain biotic factors need for survival.
Degger [83]

Flooding is the term used to characterize the process that occurs when the waters of a river overflow due to rain and occupy the area next to the river, called the river plain. It can have natural or anthropogenic causes and affect vulnerable populations more often.

What is Biotic and Abiotic?

The biotic components are all the living things that live in a certain place, while the abiotic components are all the physical, chemical and geological factors of the environment such as water, light, soil, humidity, temperature, nutrients etc.

With this information, we can conclude that A flood can wash away important abiotic factors, such as soil and rocks, that certain biotic factors need to survive, thus flooding affects the ecology of affected regions.
