Rate of change is the number attached to the x when there is an equation of y = or something = y. either way the y is by itself. look at the numbers on the x whichever number is greater then it has the greater change. in this case 2 is bigger than 1 so function 1 has the greatest change

A tank can be filled by one pump in 50 minutes and by another in 60 minutes. A third pump can drain the tank in 75 minutes. If a
Deffense [45]

let's label each pump A, B, and C, just for convenience. A fills the tank by 1/50 every minute, B fills the tank by 1/60 every minute, and C drains it by 1/75 every minute. Now we can put them all into one function: t(1/50 + 1/60 - 1/75) = 1, where t = our time in minutes and 1 = the tank being full.

next, we solve for t: t = 300/7 minutes, or approximately 42.86 minutes.

Give three solutions to the equation y = - 1/2x -2. Give your solutions as ordered pairs, using reduced fractions or integers fo
MatroZZZ [7]

Answer:

To find solutions to an equation, we can choose any values for x, and then use the equation to find the value of y to make an ordered pair in the form (x,y). First, let's choose x = 1. y = 3(1) + 4 = 7 The ordered pair is (1,7) Let's choose x = 4. y = 3(4) + 4 = 16 The ordered pair is (4,16) Let's choose x = 11 y = 3(11) + 4 = 37 The ordered pair is (11,37) The three solutions we found are: (1,7) (4,16) (11,37) Note that we could choose any values for x that we like. In this case we chose x = 1, x = 4, and x = 11, but any values of x will work fine.

i hope this helps sorry if i am wrong
