∠R = 100° , ∠S = 40° and ∠T = 40°

<u>Step-by-step explanation:</u>

In a triangle, sum of all the angles in a triangle is equal to 180 degrees.

In Δ RST,

∠R + ∠S + ∠T = 180°

It is given that,

∠S = ∠T

∠R = 2∠S + 20

So plugin these values in the above equation, we will get,

2∠S + 20 + ∠S+ ∠S = 180

4∠S = 180 - 20

∠S = 160/ 4 = 40

∠R = 2× 40 + 20 = 80 + 20 = 100°

∠S = ∠T = 40°

A jet leaves Reno, Nevada and is headed toward Miami, Florida at a bearing of 100°. The distance between the two cities is appro
Likurg_2 [28]
So hmm, if you notice the picture below

"y" would be the opposite to the 10° angle, and "x" would its adjacent

Reno is "y" north and "x" west from Miami

\bf sin(\theta)=\cfrac{opposite}{hypotenuse}\implies sin(10^o)=\cfrac{y}{2472}  solve for "y", to see how much north

and \bf cos(\theta)=\cfrac{adjacent}{hypotenuse}\implies cos(10^o)=\cfrac{x}{2472}  solve for "x" to see how much west

make sure, that in both cases, your calculator is in Degree mode, since the angle is in degrees, as opposed to Radian mode

now... for the section B)

if notice the Reno-Miami line, and you were to draw a North line through it, anywhere in between, or at an endpoint like the in the picture at Reno, the "clockwise" angle, will always be the same, 100°

bear in mind ( no pun intended ), that Bearings use the North line, and the clockwise angle from it, as in the picture below

Mr.Johnson imported some cartons of noodles. There were 28 packages of in each carton.he then sold 10 of noodles for $5 if he rec
iragen [17]

Answer:

The total number of cartons did he sale is 20  .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The total number package in each carton = 28

The total amount received after sale = $ 280

The cost of 10 noodles  = $ 5

Let the total number of cartoon sale = x

According to question

∵ The number of noodles costing $5 is 10

so,The number of noodles costing $1 is \frac{10}{5} = 2

∴ The number of noodles costing $280 = 2 × 280 = 560

Now, since there are 28 packages in 1 carton

So .  the number of carton did he sale = \dfrac{\textrm total number of noodles}{\textrm total package in each cartoon}

Or, The number of carton did he sale = \frac{560}{28} = 20

Hence The total number of cartons did he sale is 20  . Answer
