First you would need to find the square root of 50. Therefore, when x is t the power of 2, your x value would equal to the square root of 50.

EX:   x to the power of 2= 100.... x would equal to 10, since the square root of 100 is 10 and 10to the power of two ( or by itself twice) is equal to 100 it is similar to this equation....

your answer for your equation is 7.07106781187

Hope this helps:)

What is the explicit formula for this sequence?<br><br> −7, −4, −1, 2, 5, …
VikaD [51]

The explicit formula for the sequence is 3n -10

<h3>What is an Arithmetic Sequence ?</h3>

An arithmetic sequence is a series of terms which have  common difference between its consecutive numbers.

The sequence given is

−7, −4, −1, 2, 5, …

The common difference between each term is d =3

-4-(-7) = 3

-1-(-4) =3

The nth term for a sequence is given by

\rm T_n =  a +(n-1)d

Here a is the first term = -7

n is the no. of terms  = n

d is the common difference = 3

Therefore the equation will be

\rm T _n = -7 + (n-1) * 3

\rm T _n = -7 +3n -3

\rm T _n = 3n -10

Therefore the explicit formula for the sequence is 3n -10 .

10 Pts <br> Multiplying fractions:<br><br> 5     1 <br> — x — = <br> 6     2
Flauer [41]

Multiply the numerators together. Multiply the denominators together. Then reduce if necessary.

\dfrac{first~numerator}{first~denominator} \times \dfrac{second~numerator}{second~denominator} = \dfrac{(first~numerator)\times(second~numerator)}{(first~denominator)\times(second~denominator)}

\dfrac{a}{b} \times \dfrac{c}{d} = \dfrac{a \times c}{b \times d}

\dfrac{5}{6} \times \dfrac{1}{2} = \dfrac{5 \times 1}{6 \times 2} = \dfrac{5}{12}
