The perimeter of the equilateral triangle is 3s and s=4x so the perimeter is:

12x

And we are told that the perimeter of the square is the same. And that perimeter is 4s where s=(x+6) so that perimeter is equal to

4x+24, and again, we are told that these two values are equal so we can solve for x...

12x=4x+24

8x=24

x=3 and if x=3 then the side length is (x+6)=9

So the area of the square is always A=s^2 and s=9 thus:

A=9^2

A=81 u^2

Find clarissa salary when she sells $1700 worth of merchandise.
Natali5045456 [20]

Answer:

361.25

Step-by-step explanation:

first subtract her sales

900 - 500 equals 400

next subtract her earnings

489-405= 85

next divide the remainder of her earnings by the remainder of her sales

85/400=.2125

finally multiply this by 1700

0.21 to 5 * 1700 equals 361.25

What is the degree measure of two thirds of a full turn?
Luda [366]
This question requires only one calculation to determine the answer. A full turn is 360 degrees. Therefore, to find the degree measure of two thirds of a full turn, we multiply 360 degrees by 2/3. This gives us 240 degrees.
