Answer:

Explanation:

Your myth: Dogs and wolves are the same species

Fact: Dogs and wolves are fairly similar and are in fact the same species as scientists have stated

Evidence: It has been scientifically proven that wolves and dogs are related. Wolves are the ancestors of dogs and are most related to the Akita, Shiba Inu, Chow Chow, and Alaskan Malamute. Wolves and dogs share the same genes, same DNA (or very similar DNA), and can produce viable, fertile offspring.

So basically they share very similar parts and are in fact the same species

Sorry for the late and long paragraph!

Hope this helps!

The velocity of an ocean wave is 5m/s. The distance between crests is 3m. What is the frequency of the wave
alexgriva [62]

Answer:

1.67m

5m/s

Explanation:

Wavelength of the wave = 3m

Speed of the wave = 5m/s

The distance between crest and the adjacent trough of water waves is known as the wavelength of a wave.

To find the frequency ;

        V = f∧

V is the speed of the wave

f is the frequency

∧ is the wavelength

  Insert the parameters and find the frequency;

        f  = V/ ∧   = 5 / 3  = 1.67Hz

The rate at which the wave passed a given point is the speed of the wave and it is 5m/s

How does a seat belt stop your body from moving in a forward motion in a car?
stiks02 [169]
D, when a moving car suddenly stops, your body is still moving forward until the seatbelt stops you.

When things move, there is always friction. It's what makes cars move in the first place. The inside of the car doesn't move, however the wheels on the car are moving at a rapid pace. When the car stops violently, everything inside the car is thrown. The seat belt acts as a safety precaution if an accident happens.

If I push on the wall with 75 Newtons of force, the wall will push back with ______
Sauron [17]

Answer:

(F)reaction = - 75 N

where, negative sign shows opposite direction.

Explanation:

This question can be answered using Newton's third law of motion. The Newton's Third Law of Motion states that for every action force there is an equal but opposite reaction force.

(F)action = - (F)reaction

Hence, in our scenario if we consider the 75 Newton force applied on the wall to be the action force then the reaction force of the wall must be equal to it in opposite direction. Therefore, the reaction push of the wall must be equal to 75 N.

(F)reaction = - 75 N

where, negative sign shows opposite direction.
