On the night of February 26, 2012, in Florida, United States, George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old African American high school student. At 7:30 pm, Martin was then pronounced dead due to the fatal shot. Zimmerman was a 28-year-old mixed race Hispanic man who was the neighborhood watch coordinator for his gated community where Martin was visiting his relatives at the time of the shooting. Martin was unnarmed. Hope that helped y'all.
