Hi Soccerbrandon,

So in order to do unit conversion in this situation, it is best to first convert kg into g and then g into mg. The conversion rates are easy to remember individually for both of them.

There are 1000 g in 1 kg.
There are 1000 mg in 1 g.

So lets use 25 kg as an example:
25 kg times \frac{1000g}{1kg} gives 25000 g in 25 kg.
25000 g times \frac{1000mg}{1g} gives 25000000mg in 25000g.
This gives us the answer that 25000000mg is equal to 25kg.

Hope it helps!!

As you may remember, NaCl is an ionic compound composed of Na+ and Cl− ions. In the oxidation-reduction reaction to form NaCl, w
lutik1710 [3]

Answer: Option A

Explanation: 2 Na + Cl2---> 2NaCl

Here Oxidation no of Na is zero while in NaCl is +1. That means oxidation state of Na increased from 0 to +1 hence oxidation

While Cl2 has zero in molecular form and -1 in NaCl hence Reduction (Oxidation no decreased from zero to -1)

Halogens(cl) always shows -1 oxidation state and IA group elements(Na)shows +1 oxidation state

Eddi Din [679]

Answer: As the temperature decreases or pressure increases substances move toward the solid state. Solids have a definite shape and a definite volume due to the fact that their particles are relatively close together and are merely vibrating, contrary to popular convention, the particles of a solid are moving.
