Answer:

A. yes, one salad

B. yes, one of each

C. yes, one drink

D. no, you cannot

The answer is yes, one drink because if you are going to buy 2 salads at $2.49 and 2 drinks at $0.99. Two salads will cost $4.98 and two drinks will cost $1.98, if you add the number of drinks and salads together we will have $6.96 then subtract the amount of money you have with you from $6.98 (8.00 - 6.98) then you will have $1.04. So, one of you can use the remaining $1.04 to buy second drink.

Show that y=cos(t)y=cos(t) is a solution to (dydt)2=1−y2(dydt)2=1−y2. Enter your answers below in terms of the independent varia
GrogVix [38]

Answer:

(\frac{dy}{dt})^2=sin^2t

Step-by-step explanation:

y=cost

DE :(\frac{dy}{dt})^2=1-y^2

If y is a solution of given DE then it satisfied the DE.

Differentiate w.r.t t

\frac{dy}{dt}=-sint

Using the formula

\frac{d(cosx)}{dx}=-sinx

LHS:(\frac{dy}{dt})^2=(-sint)^2=sin^2t

RHS

1-y^2=1-cos^2t=sin^2t

By using the formula

sin^2t=1-cos^2t

LHS=RHs

Hence, y is a solution of given DE

(\frac{dy}{dt})^2=sin^2t

PLEASE HELP! Determine the slope & the y-intercept of the following graphs.
olga55 [171]

Hey girl! It's me again to explain this to you :)

Number 21.) If we start from our y-intercept -2 and move up 2 on our y-axis we get to point (0,0). If we move over 1 space to the right, we are on (1,0), which is the x-intercept.

Slope: 2/1 or just 2

Y-intercept: -2

You didn't ask for this but i'm gonna write it anyways. The equation for this line is y=2x-2

Number 22.) If we start from our y-intercept 2 and move down 2 on your y-axis we get to point (0,0). If we move over 1 space to the right, we are on (1,0), which is the x-intercept.

Slope: -2/1 or just -2

Y-intercept: 2

Again you didn't ask for this but the equation for this line is y=-2x+2

Hope this helped you understand and again make this brainliest and reply if you need more help or have any more questions :)
