Answer:

It's a 19 percent increase.

Step-by-step explanation:

Divide 97/120, then multiply it by 100. After that, you can subtract the answer by 100. The answer will be negative, so make it positive.

Oksana_A [137]

Answer:

Option A

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that for an eqn. ax^{2} +bx+c=0 , the quadratic formula is =

x = \frac{-b+\sqrt{b^{2}-4ac } }{2a}  or \frac{-b-\sqrt{b^{2}-4ac } }{2a}

So using quadratic eqn. for x^{2} -6x-5=0

x =\frac{-(-6)+\sqrt{(-6)^{2}-4*1*(-5) } }{2*1}or\frac{-(-6)-\sqrt{(-6)^{2}-4*1*(-5) } }{2*1}

=> x = \frac{6+\sqrt{36+20} }{2} or\frac{6-\sqrt{36+20} }{2}

=>x = \frac{6+\sqrt{56} }{2} or\frac{6-\sqrt{56} }{2}

1b the older the child is the more it cost to raise them

2 there is a relationship. The higher the age the less the price is.

3a there si no relationship because the points don’t have a pattern and are all over the plot.

3b it is not reasonable bc there is no obvious correlation between the completely unrelated shoe size and reading scores.

The difference of two integers is thirty. the larger integer is two more than five times the smaller integer. Find the integers
Mnenie [13.5K]
X=2+5y
x-y=30

basically, all you're doing here is solving a system of equations. use the second equation to find out what x or y means. i'm going to solve it for x.

this is the new equation : x=30+y

now i plug this equation into the first one.

30+y=2+5y

30=2+5y-y
30=2+4y
28=4y
y=7

now that you know what y is, take that second equation we did in the beginning and plug in y.

x-7=30

solve for x

x=37

the two integers are 37 and 7.

Todd is putting new oak baseboard trim in his living room. He has one piece that is 12 1/2 ft long and another that is 8 2/3 ft
Arlecino [84]

Answer:

21 1/6 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

Add the lengths together

12 1/2 + 8 2/3

Get a common denominator of 6

12 1/2 *3/3  + 8 2/3 *2/2

12 3/6 + 8 4/6

20 7/6

20 +6/6+1/6

21 1/6

Solve for c.<br><br> 3 − 7c − 20c = 7(–7c − 19) + 14c<br><br> c =
OleMash [197]

Answer:

\boxed{c = -17}

Step-by-step explanation:

=  > 3 - 7c - 20c = 7( - 7c - 19) + 14c \\  \\  =  > 3 - 27c = ( - 7c \times 7) - (7 \times 19) + 14c \\  \\  =  > 3 - 27c =  - 49c - 133 + 14c \\  \\  =  > 3 - 27c =  - 35c - 133 \\  \\  =  > 3 - 27c + 35c =  - 133 \\  \\  =  > 3  + 8c =  - 133 \\  \\  =  > 8c =  - 133 - 3 \\  \\  =  > 8c =  - 136 \\  \\  =  > c =  -  \frac{136}{8}  \\  \\  =  > c =  - 17
