Part A:  .85 + .50+ .15= 1.50

1.50 - .30= 1.20   liters left

Part B: I used the Substitution property because we knew how much juice was in the jar and we knew how much she drank But we did not know how much was left in the jar which we used the substitution property to figure out how much was left in the jar after she drank .30 liters.
