Answer:

The objects that allow humans to access ground water are:

 • A spring
 • a well drilled into an aquifer
 • a well drilled below the water table

Explanation:

Access to ground water can be gained if we dig a well or use any source that can provide us an access below the water table. A water table is the level below which the ground is saturated with water. So above the saturation level we cannot gain access to water therefore we must go below it. A spring springs from ground below water table and the same thing occurs for well or an aquifer if it is below the water table..

Which of the following is a characteristic of hydrologic fracturing?
jeyben [28]

Answer:

A. Large amounts of water force open cracks in rocks

Explanation:

Hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, is a drilling method used to extract petroleum (oil) or natural gas from deep in the Earth. In the fracking process, cracks in and below the Earth's surface are opened and widened by injecting water, chemicals, and sand at high pressure.

A is basically explaining this the same way. Forcing cracks in the ground with liquids.

You get into an argument with your classmate about whether ATP hydrolysis is required for actin polymerization. You argue that A
Ray Of Light [21]

Answer:

It is a very good discussion debate, although I believe that the most effective way to generate the actin head to generate such a displacement requires a good full energy currency, which is considered much better by ATP.

Regarding the information sought in 1950 (Straub), he was publishing that he could bind ATP and that during the polymerization of the protein to form microfilaments, it hydrolyzed to ADP + Pi, which remained bound to the microfilament.

Straub suggested that this reaction played a role in muscle contraction, but this is only true for smooth muscle and was not verified experimentally until 2001.

At the point where it is stated that ADP + Pi is necessary for the formation of polymers, it is extremely true and a very good posture.

What we can highlight as false in all this argument is that for muscle contraction ATP is not needed, since for it to occur if or if there must be ATP or energy currency.

Explanation:

Then we can conclude that both statements are valid with the difference that in the case of ADP + Pi it requires more evidence.

Regan is trying to determine if an unknown element is a metal. She does not want to damage or change the physical appearance of
34kurt

Explanation:

Well, one could use a magnet to see if it's ferrous. One could melt it to check which type it is, use a metal detector, or just use their senses: If it dings or clinks like metal, and feels like it’s texture. If it polishes with metal polish, is reflective, can be shaped or shape when heated… It usually is a metal. If it rusts, or oxidizes, it is or contains metal. If it “smells" like metal, most likely, it is metal. Finally, if it walks like metal, and quacks like metal, most likely we have a metal
