the theme for this story is when the grasshopper was singing all last summer had did not remember to store up food for the winter when winter was almost there he found out that he had no food, so he went to the aunts and beg them for food the anuts told him you should store up food rather them singing

I would say the theme of the story is that someone should Focus on the task at hang before its to late. kinda like a job.. if ur boss tells u to have something done by the end of the day an u don't do it u would have to face the consequences.
