To find the Probability of C given that you have only Y to choose from you need to only use the Y values on the table.  C has a total of 15 in the Y column and total Y is 30.  So P(c given y) is just 15/30 or .5

<u>Answer-</u>

<em>P(C|Y) of the information in the table was found to be 0.5</em>

<u>Solution-</u>

We know from the formula for conditional probability that,

P(B\mid A)=\frac{P(A \ and \ B)}{P(A)}

Applying the same,

P(C\mid Y)=\frac{P(C \ and \ Y)}{P(Y)}

Calculating the values,

Probability \ of \ an \ event =\frac{favorable \ outcomes}{possible \ outcomes}

P(C)=\frac{40}{146}=\frac{20}{73} \ and \ P(Y)=\frac{30}{146}=\frac{15}{73}

P(C \ and \ Y)=\frac{15}{146}

\therefore P(C\mid Y)=\frac{\frac{15}{146}}{\frac{15}{73}} =\frac{73}{146} =0.5

I need help With my homeworkTITLE: Interpret and write equations From Table
Anon25 [30]
<h2>Answer:</h2>

a) 20 will represent the set price of admission

b) 3 is the price of each ticket

c) x will be the total number of ticket bought

d) y will be the total amount of money spent.

<h2>Explanations:</h2>

The equation given is written in slope-intercept form of a line. The slope-intercept form is in the form y = mx +b

where

• m is the ,rate of change ,or slope

,

• b is the ,intercept, (constant)

Given the equation that represents the total amount of mney the hunter will spend expressed as y = 20 + 3x

a) Since 20 is a constant value, it is more like the initial price. Based on the question, 20 will represent the set price of admission.

b) 3 is the price of each ticket needed to go on the ride

c) x will be the total number of ticket bought for the rides

d) As mentioned earlier, y will be the total amount of money the hunter will spend for the ride including the admission price.

Diane has 496 beads and Linda has 286 beads.
julia-pushkina [17]

Answer: 210 fewer beads.

Step-by-step explanation: All you have to do is subtract the amount Diane has by Linda. And the answer you get is how many less beads Linda has. She has 210 fewer beads than Diane from 7ds (7ds is an anime lol and Diane is a character just a joke).
