Microorganisms can be divided into two groups:

1. Archea

• Archea are prokaryotic unicellular organisms without cell nucleus or other membrane bound-organelles.

• Their membrane is built from ether lipids, which differs them from bacteria’s cell membrane.

•

2. Bacteria

• Bacteria are also unicellular prokaryotic organisms.

• Bacterial cell membranes are made from phosphoglycerides with ester bonds. Bacterial genome is in a form of circular chromosome.

• They reproduce by binary fission or by budding.

Besides, prokaryotes (Archea and Bacteria) a large number of eukaryotes are also microorganisms. Unicellular eukaryotes contain organelles such as the cell nucleus, the Golgi apparatus and mitochondria. Usually, they reproduce asexually by mitosis. An example of eukaryotic microorganism is Protist.

Microbial World is Divided into two Unique Features

Microorganisms also named as microbes are tiny bodies that live as unicellular which have:

 • A single cell
 • Multicellular consisting of more than two cells and
 • Multicellular that have a group of cells.

Microorganisms are broad in the environment. We get benefit from them in some ways but some are harmful for us and other species. When they behave like parasites. They can be divided into six major types:

 • Bacteria
 • Archaea
 • Fungi
 • Protozoa
 • Algae
 • Viruses

Why are conservation efforts necessary
AleksandrR [38]

Biological conservation is important for ecosystem functioning. How ecosystems works is the reason behind all the commodities we enjoy. For example, due to dense forests, a lot of water is filtered trhough soil. This water replenishes underground streams, which ultimately allow us to filter that water. It's like forests are a giant and very effective mechanism to catch rain water. Besides, vegetation is pretty important for climate regulation in land, since it produces the oxygen we breath and gives shade from the sun. Any economical develpment could provide the benefits forests give. Noteworthy, forests are able to proliferate and endure, thanks a lot of interctions with microorganisms, invertebrates (like ants or bees, important pollinators). These are a few examples, why biological conservation, relies at the heart of our own population conservation.

natka813 [3]
The image shows a phospholipid bilayer. Macromolecules that make up most of the structure that is shown are proteins and lipids. Lipids can make up 20% to 80% of the membrane depending on the location and type of the cell. The rest is made up of proteins.
