Given:

sum of two circles is 80 pi square meters

big circle has a radius of - 2r
small circle has a radius of – r

Required:

r

Solution:

2r + r = 80 pi square meters

3r = 80 pi square meters

r = 26.67 pi meters

What are the measures of Angles a,b, and c? Show your work and explain your answers. Will marks best answer as Brainliest
Soloha48 [4]
Angle a is directly opposite from a 40 degree angle, so a=40. Then we can find b since the sum of the angles of all triangles is 180 and there is a right angle in there along with angle a:
180=90+40+b
b=50

Last, to find c we just notice that it is supplementary with an angle of measure 65, so:
c+65=180
c=115

So our angles are a=40, b=50, c=115.

Leto [7]

Answer:

18.1 million

Step-by-step explanation:

12.1 - 4.9 = 7.2 million increase in 6 years

7.2 / 6 = increase of 1.2 million a year

1.2 x 5 years = 6 million

12.1 million + 6 million = sales of 18.1 million in 2001

Answer:

4 inch

Step-by-step explanation:

given that the ratio of the floor plan with that of the actual measurement =

                                                                  1 inch : 2 feet....................(1)

so we have to find the length of the house on the floor plan if the actual measurement is 8 feet.

using eq (1), we can say that the length on the floor plan will be half of the actual length.

therefore if the actual length of the house is 8 feet, then

                            length of the house on the floor plan = 8/2

                                                                                           = 4 inch
