Which events occurred during the Space Race? Check all that apply.
myrzilka [38]

Answer:

advancements in spy satellite technology

improved technology for sending living things into orbit

creation of a landing module that could fly back to the ship in orbit

Explanation:

With the end of World War II, the United States and Soviet Union ceased to be allies and began to dispute the political and economic influence in the world. They began to confront each other indirectly in peripheral territories, but also in the field of culture, sports and technology. However, they never directly confronted each other in any military conflict, so this period was called the Cold War.

One of the most visible faces of this dispute was the Space Race. This consisted of the development of vehicles capable of flying over Earth's orbit and perhaps going beyond space. Likewise, it was thought of building a shield that would protect each nation from the missile of the enemy country. For studies and technological development, the governments of both countries recruited Germany's best scientists and engineers, who were unemployed after the 1939-1945 conflict.

The result of this was the creation of several technological advances, among them:

advancements in spy satellite technology

improved technology for sending living things into orbit

creation of a landing module that could fly back to the ship in orbit
