If population in 2025 is 450 (in thousands)
15 years prior (2010, it is 450 - 15(4) or 390
now in years (p) after this date population increases 4 (in thousands) times the number of years.

so formula would be p = 390 + 4p

The circumference of a circle is 11/pi. What is the area, in square inches, of the circle? Express your answer in terms of /pi.
eimsori [14]
So since 11/pi doesn't means 11 divided by pi but it means 11 pi

circumference=2pir
if circumerence=11pi
2pir=11pi
solve for r (radius)
divide both sides by pi
2r=11
divide by 2
r=5.5

area=pir^2
area=pi5.5^2
area=pi30.25

answer is area=30.25pi in^2
