Yes you did, you count up all the decimal spaces in all (which is 4 in this case) and put that amount of decimal spaces in the product.

Yes you did, because you have to move the decimal the number of places added together (How many decimal places?) 0.14 and 0.77 is 4 decimal places, so you move it 4 times to the right at the final product. Hope I helped!

□+□+□=30<br> Fill in the boxes using 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15<br> You can also repeat the number?
adelina 88 [10]

It is impossible to get the result of 30 using just odd numbers in the blanks.

Using factorials, we get  3! + 11 + 13 = 30 or 3! + 9 + 15 = 30

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

----- + ------ + ------- = 30

We have to fill with numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 to get 30

We can also repeat the number

Given are the set odd numbers like 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15

We need three numbers to fill in the box to get 30

When three odd numbers are added, it results in odd number

But we should get 30, which is a even number

So it is impossible to get the result of 30 using just odd numbers in the blanks.

<em><u>Using tricks, some of solutions are:</u></em>

We can use factorial

3! + 9 + 15 = 6 + 9 + 15 = 30

Or

3! + 11 + 13

So, 6 + 11 + 13 = 30

In ΔEFG, f = 42 inches, e = 39 inches and ∠E=43°. Find all possible values of ∠F, to the nearest degree.\
zavuch27 [327]

Answer:

The angle F = 47.25°

Step-by-step explanation:

<u><em>Step(i):-</em></u>

Given that f =42inches  and  e = 39 inches

Given that ∠E = 43°

By using sine rule

                 \frac{a}{sinA} = \frac{b}{sinB} = \frac{C}{sinC}  = 2R

                \frac{e}{sinE} = \frac{f}{sinF}

 ⇒          \frac{39}{sin43} = \frac{42}{sinF}

  Cross multiplication , we get

⇒       39 sin F = 42 × sin 43°

             sin F = \frac{42 X 0.68199}{39}

⇒           sin F = 0.734459

<u><em>Step(ii):-</em></u>

⇒       sin⁻¹ (sin F)= sin ⁻¹ ( 0.734459)

⇒            F = 47.25

The angle F = 47.25°

Given that the two triangles are similar, solve for x if AU = 20x + 108, UB = 273, BC = 703, UV = 444, AV = 372 and AC = 589.
skelet666 [1.2K]
Data:

<span>segment AU = 20x + 108,
segment UB = 273,
segment BC = 703,
segment UV = 444,
segment AV = 372 and
segment AC = 589.

From the figure:

1) Similarity => segment AB / segment BC = segment AU / segment UV

2) segment AB = segment AU + segment UB = 20x + 108 + 273 = 20x + 381

=> (20x + 381) / 703 = (20x + 108) / 444

=> 444 (20x + 381) = 703 (20x + 108)

=> 8880x + 169164 = 14060x + 75924

=> 14060x - 8880x = 169164 - 75924

=> 5180 x = 93240

=> x = 93240 / 5180

=> x = 18

Answer: x = 18
