Researchers have studied the relationship between locus of control and mental health and found that depending on where a person

falls on the continuum, propensities for certain disorders change. In general, people with a high internal locus of control show resilience against developing depression. People with a high external locus of control, on the other hand, show increased susceptibility to depression. What aspect of having an external locus of control makes people more susceptible to depression?A. An external locus of control makes people more likely to punish themselves for the misfortunes of others and accept blame that isn't theirs.B. An external locus of control makes people feel that they lack the power to change their situation, which can breed a sense of hopelessness.C. An external locus of control motivates people to seek out risky situations and engage in dangerous behaviors, which often have negative outcomes.

hodyreva [135]
<span> It might be point out that the problem with the sentence  <span>"everyone must learn how to work their new computer" is the use of the verb work because the appropriate preposition is not included. So it should be grammatically correct to say “everybody must learn how to work with a computer”. In this case, the verb will be a synonym of the verb use.</span></span>

Compared to the short-run demand for oil, the demand for oil in the long run will tend to be elastic.
Artist 52 [7]

Compared to the short-run demand for oil, the demand for oil in the long run will tend to be more elastic. In the short run, it's not easy to make substantial changes in energy consumption. In the long run, however, you can purchase a car that gets more miles to the gallon. As a result, the elasticity of demand for energy is somewhat inelastic in the short run but much more elastic in the long run.
