The number bushels they get from 15 acres of land is 2550

<em><u>Solution:</u></em>

Given that, farmer gets 340 bushels of corn from 2 acres of land

To find: Number bushels they get from 15 acres

Let us first find the unit rate, that is we have to find number of bushels from 1 acre of land

From given question,

2 acres of land = 340 bushels of corn

Therefore, for 1 acres of land,

\text{ number of bushels from 1 acre of land } = \frac{340}{2} = 170

<em><u>How many bushels can they get from 15 acres?</u></em>

So, multiply the number of bushels from 1 acre of land by 15 to get answer

\text{number of bushels from 15 acre} = \text{ number of bushels from 1 acre } \times 15

\text{number of bushels from 15 acre} = 170 \times 15 = 2550

Thus number bushels they get from 15 acres of land is 2550

Gekata [30.6K]
TO get 6% of 20 we have to write 6% in decimal (or fraction if u want but decimal allows u to multiply it easier i think)
6%=0.06=\frac{6}{100}
Now u have to mulitply 0.06 times 20
0.06*20=1.2 - its the result

Sketch the region R defined by 1≤ x≤ 2 and 0≤ y≤ 1/x^3
steposvetlana [31]
On the attachment, there is the graph for the region "R" and the calculations for the value a and b.

the theory is that you have to choose a value that is between the range and assume that this value will divide the area into two equal parts. This is done for x = a

For
"y" you have to change the integral from dx to dy and you have to divide the region into 2 parts, given that the area cannot be calculated by 1 integral equation, so you proceed to calculate the rectangular area and take this area into consideration, for the same procedure as before.

Then you calculate again the value y = b and that's it.

The perimeter of a rectangle is 338, if the ratio of the length to the width is 8:5, find the length
STALIN [3.7K]
Let the length be 8x and the width = 5x, then
Perimeter = 2(length + width) = 2(8x + 5x) = 2(13x) = 26x
338 = 26x
x = 338/26 = 13

Therefore, length = 8x = 8 x 13 = 104
