AFB is acute. DFB is obtuse. Finally CFD is right. And those are the"right answers" and your welcome hope you get a 100%

AFB = 48 degrees

DFB = 138 degrees

CFD = 90 degrees

In order to find AFB, we can see that AFC is equal to 90. We then subtract the 42 degree angle on the inside of it.

90 - 42 = 48

For the DFB angle, we know that we have a 90 degree angle plus the 42 degree angle. So we add them together.

90 + 42 = 132

Lastly CFD is a right angle and therefore is equal to 90.

Write the slope intercept form of the equation of the line that passes through the point (4, 8) and has a slope of -2.
zhuklara [117]

The equation of the line is y = -2x + 16 which passes through the point (4, 8) and has a slope of -2.

What is a linear equation?

It is defined as the relation between two variables, if we plot the graph of the linear equation we will get a straight line.

If in the linear equation, one variable is present, then the equation is known as the linear equation in one variable.

It is given that:

The line that passes through the point (4, 8) and has a slope of -2.

On comparing the standard equation:

y = mx + c

Here m is the slope of the line and c is the y-intercept.

m = -2

y = -2x + c

Plug x = 4 and y = 8

8 = -2(4) + c

c = 16

y = -2x + 16

Thus, the equation of the line is y = -2x + 16 which passes through the point (4, 8) and has a slope of -2.
