Answer:

C) invertebrates lived on Earth before vertebrates

Explanation:

  • Fossils have been in sedimentary rocks when the sediments such as mud , sand, shells and pebbles and are mostly found in sedimentary rocks as there temperature and pressure does not destroy fossil remains.
  • The occurrence of the fossil remains of the plants and animals shows us a distinction of the invertebrates and the vertebrates that emerged later and can be seen from the fossil index of the ancient, medieval and recent life.
  • Most of the life originated under the seas, trace fossils are the commonest fossils to be found and show animal behavior.

Which part of the nephron receives fluid directly from the glomerular capsular space?
Gala2k [10]

The proximal tubule is the segment of the nephron in kidneys which begins from the renal pole of the Bowman's capsule to the beginning of loop of Henle. The glomerulus is the site in the nephron where fluid and solutes are filtered out of the blood to form a glomerular filtrate. The proximal and distal tubules, the loop of Henle, and the collecting ducts are sites for the reabsorption of water and ions. Fluid and small solutes are forced under pressure to flow from the glomerulus into the capsular space of the glomerular capsule.

Reabsorption as this filtrate passes through the tubules, specific substances are reabsorbed back into the blood of the peritubular capillaries. Bowman's capsule surrounds the glomerular capillary loops and participates in the filtration of blood from the glomerular capillaries.

Has medical progress stopped human evolution? [duplicate]
Angelina_Jolie [31]
No. Medical progress is allowing us to progress and evolve in different ways. That is the only difference. Having medical progress and good medical care allows us to pursue different types of activites we wouldn't be able to pursue otherwise. This at the same time brings a different type of evolution.
