the perimeter equation in 2 times the length plus 2 times the height (2 x 8 + 2 x 6) which equals 12 + 16= 28, the area is length times width so 8 times 6 which equals 48

48 ft is the area; 28 ft is the perimeter

In this case, the height is being used as the width.

A = L x W

A = 8 x 6

A = 48

P = 2L + 2W

P = 2(8) + 2(6)

P = 16 + 12

P = 28

Answer: Area = 48 ft², Perimeter = 28 ft

The 6 consecutive integers below add up to 447. x − 2 x − 1 x x + 1 x + 2 x + 3 what is the value of x ? f. 72 g. 73 h. 74 j. 75
IrinaVladis [17]
(x-2) + (x-1) + x + (x+1) + (x-2) + (x+3) = 447
6x + 3 = 447
6x = 447 - 3
6x = 444
x = 444/6
x = 74

Find a potential function for F or determine that F is not conservative. (If F is not conservative, enter NOT CONSERVATIVE.) F =
xxMikexx [17]

For F to be conservative, we need to have

\dfrac{\partial f}{\partial x}=\cos z

\dfrac{\partial f}{\partial y}=10y

\dfrac{\partial f}{\partial z}=-x\sin z

Integrate the first PDE with respect to x:

\displaystyle\int\frac{\partial f}{\partial x}\,\mathrm dx+\int\cos z\,\mathrm dx\implies f(x,y,z)=x\cos z+g(y,z)

Differentiate with respect to y:

\dfrac{\partial f}{\partial y}=10y=\dfrac{\partial g}{\partial y}\implies g(y,z)=5y^2+h(z)

Now differentiate f with respect to z:

\dfrac{\partial f}{\partial z}=-x\sin z=-x\sin z+\dfrac{\mathrm dh}{\mathrm dz}\implies\dfrac{\mathrm dh}{\mathrm dz}=0\implies h(z)=C

So we have

f(x,y,z)=x\cos z+5y^2+C

so F is indeed conservative.

Hillside Elementary ordered 40 pizzas for
Whitepunk [10]

Answer:

28 pizzas eaten

Step-by-step explanation:

1) estimate each number, i will take 3 1/4 as 3

5 3/4 as 6

and

2 3/4 as 3

2) combine the total number of pizzas left over:

3+6+3=12

subtract the number of pizzas left over from the total ordered:

40-12=28
