Suppose you receive a postcard from a good friend with a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. The postcard is 3.5
VMariaS [17]

Based on the scale, the actual length of the Golden Gate Bridge is  68,600 inches.

<h3>What is the actual length of the Bridge?</h3>

A scale drawing is a reduced form in terms of dimensions of an original image / building / object. The scale drawing is usually reduced at a constant dimension. An example of a scale drawing is a map.

The scale of a drawing is usually written in this format -  length in the drawing, a colon (:), then the matching length on the original image. An example of a scale is 1 : 19,600. This scale means that 1 inch of the postcard represents 19.600 of the original Golden Gate Bridge.

Actual length of the Bridge = scale x length of the bridge in the postcard

19,600 x 3.5 = 68,600 inches

Serial numbers for a product are to be made using 2 letters followed by 2 digits. The letters are to be taken from the first 6 l
Andru [333]
Alright so I'm coming up with this on the fly; you have the first six letters (a,b,c,d,e,f) and 0-9 and your ten numbers. calculate the amount of possible combinations for the letters by simply writing them down.
ab, ac, ad, ae, a f- five
bc, bd , be, bf- four
cd, ce, cf- three
de, df- two
ef,- one.
adding these all together gets a total of 15 for the letters. now the numbers
01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08, 09- nine
12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19- eight
23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29- seven
34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39- six
45, 46, 47, 48, 49- five
56, 57, 58, 59- four
67, 68, 69- three
78, 79- two
89- one
added together with a total of 45 combinations.
alright so, 45 different number combinations and 15 letter combinations. multiplying 15 by 45 should tell you the total possible combinations for a two letter and two number serial-number

Find the following:
Butoxors [25]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Limit refers to the value that the function approaches as the input approaches some value.

We say \displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow a}f(x)=L, if f(x) approaches L as x approaches 'a'.

(a)

\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}\left ( \frac{f(x)-8}{x-5} \right )=4\\\frac{\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}f(x)-\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}8}{\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}x-\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}5}=4\\

\frac{\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}f(x)-8}{\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}x-5}=4\\\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}f(x)-8=4\left ( \displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}x-5 \right )\\\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}f(x)-8=4\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}x-4(5)\\\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}f(x)-8=4(5)-4(5)\\

\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}f(x)-8=20-20=0\\\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}f(x)=8

(b)

\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}\left ( \frac{f(x)-8}{x-5} \right )=7\\\frac{\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}f(x)-\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}8}{\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}x-\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}5}=7\\\frac{\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}f(x)-8}{\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}x-5}=7\\

\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}f(x)-8=7\left ( \displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}x-5 \right )\\\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}f(x)-8=7\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}x-7(5)\\\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}f(x)-8=7(5)-7(5)\\\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}f(x)-8=35-35=0\\\displaystyle \lim_{x\rightarrow 5}f(x)=8

23j-21g+20e-13+52e-37j+45-49e<br> (Like terms)
eduard

The solution to the algebraic expression is: 23e - 21g - 14j + 32

What are algebraic expressions?

Algebraic expressions are mathematical expressions that contain variables, coefficients, and arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.

Solving algebraic expressions are an important part of mathematics as it helps to improve the aptitude and solving skills of the students.

From the given information, we have;

23j - 21g + 20e - 13 + 52e - 37j + 45 - 49e

let's rearrange by taking the like terms to the same sides;

= 23j -37j - 21g + 20e + 52e - 49e - 13 + 45

= -14j - 21g + 23e + 32

= 23e - 21g - 14j + 32

Therefore, we can conclude that the solution to the algebraic expression is: 23e - 21g - 14j + 32
