If it is a rectangle then the sides of the width would be the same. Also with the sides of the length. So add the widths, 10+10=20. Subtract 20 from 90, 90-20=70. Divide 70 by 2, 70÷2=35.
 The length would be 35 feet.

First term (a₁):  <u>1033 </u>          Common difference (d): <u>-101 </u>

Explicit rule:  a_{n} = 1134 - 101n    Recursive rule: a_{n} = a_{n-1} - 101

a_{n} = a_{1} + d(n - 1)

a_{n} = 1033 - 101(n - 1)

a_{n} = 1033 - 101n + 101

a_{n} = 1134 - 101n

Explicit rule:  a_{n} = 5 - 1.25n    Recursive rule: a_{n} = a_{n-1} - 1.25

a_{n} = a_{1} + d(n - 1)

a_{n} = 3.75 - 1.25(n - 1)

a_{n} = 3.75 - 1.25n + 1.25

a_{n} = 5 - 1.25n

Harry invests £5000 for 3 years.
mixas84 [53]

Answer:

600

Step-by-step explanation:

Harry invests £5000 for 3 years.

He gets a simple interest of 4% per year.

Work out the total interest Harry gets.

Solution

The formula for simple interest

S.I = P*R*T/100

Where P = Principal = £5000

           R = Rate = 4%

           T = Time = 3 years

 £ 5000 * 4 * 3 /100

  50 * 4 * 3

 £ 600.
