Research and Development (R&D) investments are the best example. Dedicating money to research, would enable companies to improve their physical capital (machines, facilities), and/or procedures. It is the way that manufacturing companies need to follow to enhance their productivity, and hence produce more competitive goods which will bring higher profits to the company.

 • Higher investment levels increase GDP (Gross Domestic Product) figures and lead to economic growh (ceteris paribus).
 • Higher profit may also lead to hiring more staff in the company. Hence, less people is unemployed in the economy, they are actually earning a salary now with which they can increase their demand of good or services in the markets. When demads increases, GDP does too, and hence there is economic growth (ceteris paribus).

Economic growth is considered as one of the engines that improve living standards within a country.

*ceteris paribus is a Latin phrase which literally means "other things equal".

Which of maslow's hierarchy of needs is primarily met when a neighborhood watch group forms to deter crime in the community?
Natalija [7]

Safety of Maslow's hierarchy of needs is primarily met when a neighborhood watch group forms to deter crime in the community.

In order for a person to experience full growth and self-actualization, they must meet all of the criteria listed in Maslow's hierarchy of needs. Psychoanalyst Abraham Maslow developed the hierarchy of needs hypothesis. The hierarchy is represented graphically as a pyramid, with the most fundamental requirements at the base that must be met before anybody may move on to secondary wants.

The Maslow's hierarchy of needs illustrates the general evolution of human activities into the spiritual, the creative, and/or the intellectual after survival and comfort are guaranteed. Protection from the elements, security, peace, and stability are a few examples of needs for safety.

Equity is A. when poorer people's income is growing more rapidly than more wealthy people's income. B. always achieved by the
Ganezh [65]

Answer:

The answer is C. The fair distribution of economic benefits.

Explanation:

Social equity is achieved when every person within a specific society has the same opportuinities and access to economic, social and political resources and rights. In economics, equity means the fair distribution of economic benefits, according to this principle, the people that are more in need would have to recieve more economic benefits than the upper class, which would be a fair distribution. However, in reality, although there are some nations that have lessened their inequality levels, the rich tend to control social and political resources in a way that they still recieve most of the economic benefits.
