alexira [117]

Answer:

gross anatomy, an anatomical region

Explanation:

Anatomy can be grouped into gross anatomy and superficial anatomy. Gross anatomy is the study of structures that are visible to the human eye i.e. without the aid of a microscope. The anatomical regions are those regions in the body that are easily seen by the unaided eye.

In this case, Luna is trying to study the name and locations of the lumbar, or lower back, area of the body. The lumbar is the vertebrae found at the lower back of the body. Hence, it is an easily visible internal structure when dissected, making it's study a form of GROSS ANATOMY.

Consider the factors that affect muscular strength. Read each scenario and identify whether each would result in a stronger or w
nlexa [21]

Muscles are required in breathing, talking, running, walking, and any body movement. Actin and myosins are protein filaments present in muscle cells that help to contract and relax or change the shape of muscles. Muscles are responsible for the movement or motion of organisms. Joints are the connection between two or more bones. Most joints are mobile.

Muscle strength is determined by several factors. Some of those are the physical shape, size, and innervation of the muscles.

Weak contraction

  • Potassium accumulates in the sarcoplasm.
  • Contracted lower sarcoplasm pH.
  • Begin contraction with muscle already 50%.
  • The circular arrangement of muscle fascicles.

Stronger contraction

  • Increase in muscle belly circumference.
  • A lesser proportion of motor neurons to muscle fibers.
  • Increased recruitment.
  • Increased stimulus frequency.

Reclassification of fungi

Explanation:

Fungi were classified under kingdom plantae by the earlier taxonomists due to their similarities. Both of them were grown on the ground and fixed to the ground, they do not move, fungi like plants also produced fruiting bodies.

However, there were many physiological, morphological, genetic, and biochemical features which were unique and different from other kingdoms.

Although, the fungi contain similar features like vacuoles, secondary metabolites, myecelial root-like structures; fungi like plants do not have a complete vascular system.

Hence, the previous classification under plants was reconsidered and fungi were reclassified as a separate kingdom next to the protists and before the plantae kingdoms.
