Lanugo is a white, downy hair that covers the fetus's entire body, with the exception of the lips, the palm and the soles of the feet. The appearance of Lanugo in fetus is important in fetus development which usually appear on the fetus body between the fifteenth and sixteenth week during pregnancy. Although, it can also be found in new born babies most especially, when the babies are giving birth to prematurely, where the Lanugo will later disappear after few weeks after birth.
